MiG-19P & 19PM Farmer B

The second volume deals with the MiG-19 radar-equipped variants. One of these models,

the 'PM', was particularly important to the air forces of the former Warsaw Pact countries,

as it introduced the first generation of radar-homing anti-aircraft missiles to their inventories. The MiG-19 all-weather fighters were also "cloned" in China as J-6A, J-6B and J-6IV, thus enabling their air force to be acquainted with these highly sophisticated pieces of equipment.
